Goodbye 2007.

So unbelievable mann. another year passed. so fast. i am not exactly excited about embracing 2008. haha..
Actually, i dont really feel anyth now. As in, its new year! but i am not really exited over it. Its like just another day. probably cause' theres like nth much this year, no celebration, no nth. stayed home the whole day. Watching the countdown show in scv. waiting for my xiaojingteng to appear.

so boring. but i dont mind.

is anyone feeling the same too ? haahaa.

okay nvm, lets make it a little merry then.

Let's see whats up for 2008!

1. improve my horrible handwriting
2. be on time for lectures & tutorials
3. GPA of at least 3
4. Clear my hotmail inbox. you wont believe it but i have 180 new messages. (not cleared since donkey years ago)
5. Have more sleep , drink more water eat more fruits and exercise regularly.
6. Get a new stable part-time job -
But i guess, this gotta wait till near middle of the year, when 48th council's over.
7. Tidy up my room.
8. kick the bad habit of being last min -
gladis say it takes ard 30 days to form a habit. wow. but i think I'm probably born with it. i am like e x t r e m e l y l a z y cannn. ha ha!
9. Pay more attention to the things happening-
sometimes my goldfish memory and blurrness can be very frustrating. I simply cannot rmb things.
10. Last but not least, i hope i can fulfill at least half the above.

i am back from camp!

yesterday. It was actually a 2 day preparation camp for another 2 upcoming camps. It was something like our np camps,cuz of the greetings cheerings and loads of campsongs singing,and tekaning sometimes.

yeah, all the thingy about initiative,teamwork so on and on la, i am sure u understand.

it was overall quite fun.
on the 1st night there was freshido. Ha. an activity where they blindfold u, bring u to the field, make u crawl roll lie in mud,very wet, sing songs, and throw the leftover food on u. someone kindly gave me a hair treatment with stuff like rice with mud.How nice ar.Hahaha.

somewhat similar to our np camps in a way, but different too.

i cant help but to compare the 2 different camps.
The campsongs were similar too, one of the most important songs is.....guess what?
Pearly shells:)
Actions 99% same,but the song is a longer version, and almost half the lyrics are different.
a different kind of feel..but still a fabulous song to sing in a big group,esp if its loud. Makes u feel very zai. lols.

and many other songs were very memory-rekindling. like linger.I am tex.Eppo e tai tai.But the actions are vv different. i prefer our version though, more cute.

and i was happier in np camps. really:)

Whhheee! EXAMS ENDED!! After THREE long weeks, it finally ended!! Had no where to go after the papers so decided to head home. I tot boredom is going to start today after the last paper but I was wrong!! My fren lent me his Hong Kong drama serials- a total of 8 of them. hello everyone !!!

I am here again !!! Yup i agree with xy that the bbq was a simple one but i definitely enjoyed myself. Like catchin up with xy ade ry and new fren found ! hahahaah i mean muliang la. Quick ppl !! befriend ML and when u dun feel like gg to sch u can jus get the wonderful piece of paper from him hahaha.

the turn-up rate (lol) was quite bad la, 3 girls only lor (not counting ade) . i rmb when we wanted to take group photo i said something like," Girls squad tk pics with the guys..." cant rmb la but i mentioned the "girls squad" then suddenly i was like, hello? theres only 3 of us la lol. but i am not complaining or wad la cuz i noe some ppl not free and besides its still fasting month. its kinda unfair to the malay girls too.

Nvm..our next bbq will be a better one. quote from wad ncos/cis always say : "Theres always room for improvement !" hehehee. oh ya and better location de to prevent us from getting "SHI ZONG" again lol. next time i wana marinate the chicken again !! i mean I WILL MARINATE them . hahahaha! i bet i'll do a better job than my mum lalalaa~~~

by the way, hope ade and kyl had fun.. very simple bbq actually. Loads of chicken wings (thanks to kyl's mum) 80 hotdogs, a packet of sotong balls and marshmallows..

but what matters is we all enjoyed ourselves! getting lost"我们失踪了。” in west coast park.. walking to the ulu place after one round about the park.. and attempting to finish the 80 hotdogs.. we still made it through! we're alive and kicking after 60 hotdogs, although i bet muliang ate about 40 la.

hope we'll see a reunion of the cliqueee the next bbq!

Settler's Cafe has 3 outlets: Katong, Clarke Quay and Holland V. Its a boardgames cafe actually. Not too sure how it is run cos I've never been there before, heard about it thru my friends..shld be quite fun ba...but again with u monekeys ard, how not-fun can it get RITE?!

Yups so if everyone's ok with it, most prob we'll go to the one at Holland V?!

HEY it is me again!!!WHEE~ YEAH! The wkends is here!
WOOTS~ and Im really happy!!

Not just cos it is friday but also cos I DUN HAF TO GO FOR TUITION TODAY!!! FINALLY!! This week, I went tuition on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday AND Thursday! *dreads!* The inertia to move myself to the tuition kid's house is getting higher and higher! And it is exceptionally high when I have my own school work to rush.

But guess I dun have much of a choice~ I need the money to finance myself. (Though my mum will give me my allowance even if I dun teach tuition BUT the feeling of being financially independent is totally different, well at least you dun have to see the 'face-colour' of the contributor haha~) SOOoo no matter how high the inertia is, I'll still make my way to the tuition kids' house =)

Ok back to the 2nd reason why Im happy:
Since the wkend is here, I can now do some proper studying!! I cant seem to study properly during wkdays~ too tired and too lazy to start on my tutorials after I return from school~

And for the 3rd reason-to-be-happy:
I am adapting quite well in uni. My class is really nice, easy to get along with and Im catching up with the pace of the lectures and tutorials. Yupz so in short, Im enjoying sch~ whee!~ Haha! I found the sec-school feeling in uni! and that is a good sign! It means I've found myself!!(Nvm if you dun get what I mean =Pp)

firstly, he keeps turning around during lecture and smile at the person behind him! and fyi, its a guy sitting behind him...
secondly, he'll pull his shirt over his head, i duno why he nids to do tt, but my frens n i were like ?!?!...
thirdly and recently(today to be exact), he was taking photos of the people sitting beside and behind him during lecture, not too sure if these people were his frens (dey dun seem to be responding to him), but still i dun see the point in doin that during lectures?!

hey ppl, its me! sry haven been posting..was busy with school..trying to find my way, understand the china accent of my tutors and lecturers, figuring out my tutorials bla bla bla..yea short update abt uni..

hmm not so lost now, cos i found a solution to this always-losing-my-way prob of mine...and tt is to FOLLOW ppl! yea but of cos I wont b tt DUMB to follow the wrong ppl lor (yL dun xiao kan me k!) ..I'll check with them that they cfm noe the way den I'll follow..haha...

ok besides that I tink my tutorial mates are quite nice, rather easy going ppl...onli 6 gals out of 22 students tho...haha...I duno if they are super smart ppl but I can see that they are very hardworking ppl...yeap so i guess its quite a conducive environment for studying..ok mayb I should say mugging~

and yea I had my lab lesson yesterday..and the experiment was freaking hard..struggled like mad but luckily managed to get it done nicely..great sense of satisfaction wor...one of the rare times i put my heart & soul and concentrated on doing the experiment, usually I'll jus do abit and fake the rest of the readings~ woopz~ haha~ anw the stupid tutor for today's lab lesson was freaking bias agnst spore students...grrr...and to tink he still showed it so obviously...say until so kan bu qi singaporean kids...

and yea for those who still ?!?! abt wat Im studyin..its environmental engineering...and it deals with waste disposal, water treatment, land reclaimation, air quality etc~ yeap...but if by the time I grad and economy is still not gd, I may consider sweeping the roads =Pp not any ordinary road sweepers k, I'll aspire to be the most efficient one~ hehe

Hey people, glad that at least you came to take a look at this. Hmm take it as Im too free ba so started this blog for the few of us. Ever since everyone grad from sec sch, we are all busy wif our own life, even tho we may see each other on msn but I doubt many chat with each other often. It is already Aug now (duh~) A lvls, O lvls, promos and all the different exams are comin up so many of us will be very busy within the next few months. As for me, uni's starting real soon and my school term is kinda different from you all. Meeting up will not be that easy anymore. But at least spend some time to come here and blog yea.
